The wait is finally over for Disney and Star Wars fans alike. “Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away,” the new stage show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, debuted Monday.
The 15-minute long show features a mix of old and new Star Wars characters such as Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, BB-8 and Chewbacca with clips from the hugely-popular films as the backdrop.

Three screens line the back of Center Stage; the middle one lowers in between performances to allow a view of the iconic Chinese Theater.
Some of the characters simply parade out onto the stage, while others engage in simulated lightsaber fights or shoot pyrotechnic-enabled blasters. Film clips with voiceovers from the likes of Yoda make up a bulk of the show.
There are multiple performances of the new show throughout the day.
Another new addition at Hollywood Studios, Captain Phasma, now leads a platoon of First Order stormtroopers from Star Wars Launch Bay to Center Stage. The march can be seen multiple times a day.
“Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away” will run all summer.
The new show adds to a growing roster of "Star Wars"-themed experiences at Disney World, including Star Wars Launch Bay and Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple.
Fans also have a redesigned, nighttime fireworks show to look forward to this summer. “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular” will run each night at the park. Disney has not released an official date for when the new show will start.
