Walt Disney World is extending special late night hours at Magic Kingdom park — for a price.
Disney After Hours will take place on select nights in April and May.
For $149 per person, guests can ride select rides and meet and greet Disney characters for three extra hours after the park closes — either 1 a.m. or 2 a.m., depending on the day.
Guests who purchase the Disney After Hours pass can enter the park starting at 7 p.m. So that equals about six or seven hours in the park.
Magic Kingdom has seen huge crowds in the past few years, causing Disney to raise the iconic park’s tickets prices more than its sister parks.
The Disney After Hours events do not seem to affect the Extra Magic Hours. Each day, resort guests can spend extra time at a designated Disney park either before the park’s normal opening hours or after the park’s normal closing hours.
