SeaWorld Orlando has unveiled the grand opening date for its next  thrill ride, Mako, which the theme park said will be Orlando’s tallest, fastest and longest coaster.

The ride officially opens June 10, officials said.

For people who can’t wait to see what riding the coaster will be like, a preview presentation of Mako, called “Mako Rising,” will be shown at the Nautilus Theater at 11:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. each day.

Mako will be 4,760 feet long — over 9/10 of a mile — and feature a 200-foot drop at a top speed of 73 mph.

Quick Facts

  • Opening June 10, Mako will be the tallest, fastest and longest coaster in Orlando.
