Time is running out to be one of the first riders to take the plunge on SeaWorld’s new hyper coaster, Mako.

The shark is expected to make a public debut June 10, but those wanting a ride early can also make a splash in the lives of children battling a life-threatening illness.
Proceeds of the first rider auction support the mission of Give Kids the World by providing children battling a life-threatening illness a trip to Central Florida.
For a $100 donation, riders will get Mako to themselves next Wednesday afternoon, June 8. Plus, they'll receive admission to a reception next Wednesday night, where they will enjoy even more ride time.
When it opens, Mako will be Orlando’s tallest roller coaster at 200 feet and travel at more than 70 mph. The massive steel structure has forever changed the skyline of International Drive.
